Sensex Ends Below 30000, Rings in Biggest Gain in Six Weeks


The 30-share benchmark Sensex ended down 111 points, or 0.37%, at 29,918.40. At the time of updating the copy, the 30-share index was trading at 30,124.79, up 181.55 points or 0.65% from previous close. BSE Sensex continued to rule above the 30,000-level.
