Rooney, the wife of footballer Wayne Rooney, has pointed the finger at fellow footballer's wife Vardy's Instagram account over stories based on her private social media posts.
Lloyd jumped to Rooney's defence in a segment on ITV's This Morning in which she said she's had "run ins" with Rebekah in the past and said she "wasn't shocked" by the accusations.
Wife of Jamie Vardy of England Rebekah Vardy looks on during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia group G match.
Rebekah Vardy has publicly labelled such a claim as "bollocks" and said: "I'm not saying anything more until we've finished looking into this situation properly". Get Me Out Of Here! star Vardy replied to Rooney: "If you thought this was happening you could have told me & I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped".
She later tweets, 'On a more serious note I've been inundated with messages from everyone'.More news: 20 new moons found around Saturn
But she wasted no time in responding and suggested it must have been someone with access to her Instagram account who leaked information, rather than her.
A rep for Rebekah told Heart.co.uk: "It isn't true, she is now very upset and stressed so has passed it to her legal team to deal with. It's sad to think someone, who I have accepted to follow me is betraying for either money or to keep a relationship with the press".
Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy have been involved in Twitter beef, after the former England player's wife claimed that Rebekah had "betrayed" her by selling stories about her private life, and the mastermind behind the plan has been revealed.
In an attempt to find out who was responsible, Rooney explained how she blocked all users from viewing her Instagram stories, except for one person, and spent five months posting a series of false stories to see if they ended up being leaked to The Sun, which they eventually did. And you know what, they did! "The story about gender selection in Mexico, the story about returning to TV and then the latest story about the basement flooding in my new house".
Coleen Rooney is probably not in need of any new sources of income after being married to English soccer star Wayne Rooney for more than a decade, but she may have a career as a detective waiting for her if she ever has any interest.More news: Donald Tusk hands Boris Johnson last-minute Brexit boost
Opening up about when she discovered which account was the culprit, Coleen added: "It's been tough keeping it to myself and not making any comment at all, especially when the stories have been leaked, however I had to".
"Now I know for certain which account/individual it's come from".
They did, and the only person who had viewed those Instagram stories was Vardy.
"I could never do that to somebody".
She wrote: "Danielle Lloyd making false claims on @thismorning that we've got had "related run-ins" is utter [bleep]".More news: Liam Hemsworth Spotted Holding Hands With Australian Netflix Actress
