Beta program for Android 10 One UI 2.0 "coming soon" in Korea

11 October 2019

The notice on the forum mentioned that the beta program will be available for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10e.

With Android 10 out and about on release, we're now waiting on Samsung, the world's largest producer of Android smartphones, to update its phones' software based on the new OS version.

Samsung hasn't confirmed an official release date for the Galaxy S10 Android 10 beta, but we should get a date in the near future. Samsung's previous betas have hit China, France, India, Poland, Spain, and the United Kingdom. On top of that, Samsung's only offering the beta for unlocked, Sprint, and T-Mobile variants of the above phones. No word on AT&T or Verizon though they typically aren't included. The Galaxy S11 will probably be made of metal and glass and will be shipped with Android 10. This was posted through the Samsung Members app.

Seoul, Oct 8 (SocialNews.XYZ) South Korean handset maker Samsung, while modifying devices it supports with security updates, has dropped the Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A3 (2016), and the Galaxy Tab S2 L/S Refresh from the list. If you don't have a Samsung account, you'll need to create one through Samsung's website. If you're successful in registering, you'll get the One UI 2.0 beta firmware over-the-air.

As such, the latest update from Samsung detailing which of its devices users can expect to continue receiving security updates regularly is here.

So, to summarize, Samsung is "soon" going to push the Galaxy S10 series into the Android 10 beta program, and once that happens, the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ should, in theory, follow suit in the next two weeks or so.
