Kevin Hart Sued By Model for $60 Million Over 2017 Sex Tape

19 September 2019

A woman who appeared in a 2017 sex tape with Kevin Hart is suing him for R887 million, accusing him of "emotional distress, violations of privacy and negligence".

Montia Sabbag, who features in the sex tape, claims in a new lawsuit that her 2017 encounter with Hart in a Vegas hotel room was all planned by the comedian and his friend JT Jackson, TMZ reports. Montia claims that Kevin devised the plan to plant the hidden cameras with generate publicity as he had an upcoming comedy tour.

Following the release of the video, Hart admitted to cheating on his then-pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish, and apologized to her, as well as to his two children from his previous marriage to Torrei Hart.

"It's beyond irresponsible. There's no way around it". But Kevin Hart's scandal is far more recent, and even though it was a matter of 2018, it looks like Kev's still dealing with the aftermath. That's not the finest hour of my life.

At the same time, there was speculation that Sabbag was also involved in the extortion attempt, but she claimed that she had nothing to do with it, and was simply the victim.

Sabbag is filing suit now although the incident occurred two years ago as "on September 17, 2019, [she] became aware for the first time of the video's existence and that she had been surreptitiously videotaped while naked and engaging in private sexual activity in a private bedroom and that her privacy had been invaded".

In a press conference, Sabbag stood by her attorney Lisa Bloom as she said that she didn't want any money from Hart.

But, things have changed in the past couple of years.

As a result, Sabbag has filed the multi-million dollar lawsuit and changed her original story. She no longer claims that Hart was a victim like her.

The Jasmine Brand revealed that insiders say Sabbag recently asked for a payment amount in the "low six figures" through her newest lawyer.

She goes on to list the ways each party violated her. But I'm also not going to allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes and in this particular situation that was what was attempted. The comedian will not pay Sabbag a dime, and he refuses to settle.
