Why Apple's 'troubles' may not go away with 2019 iPhones

Finally, Loop Capital raised their target price on shares of Apple to $190.00 and gave the stock a "hold" rating in a report on Wednesday, May 1st. The core iPhone business continues to struggle, and Zhang goes as far as to call last year's iPhone XS "one of the worst selling iPhone models in the history of Apple". Instead, the second half of 2020 will witness strong iPhone upgrades due to the introduction of 5G iPhones and other innovative features. All three iPhones are expected to get upgrades on camera and battery front.

Such a design change was mostly required because Apple wants to fit the new iPhones with a larger square camera bump on the back, so the company needs more space inside the device. The dimensions and color options are expected to remain the same as the current generation.
