Huawei will launch the new P-series smartphones today at 6:30pm in Paris, France.

As for specifications, the Huawei P30 is believed to be fuelled by a 3,650 mAh battery. Both phones house the same 32 megapixels front camera for selfies and video calling.

When the P20 Pro launched it took the world by storm with a number of features that helped it collect numerous awards in 2018. This would essentially allow users to see the overall view and the zoomed-in view simultaneously. We have also heard the P30 Pro will feature an OLED screen that doubles as a speaker, similar to the LG G8.

Huawei might as well just call the P30 phones “announced” and get it over with. The P30 Pro will be aimed at the Galaxy S10+ and iPhone XS Max. The Huawei P30, on the other hand, will have a usual non-curved display with a waterdrop notch and thin bezels.

Design-wise, the P30 Pro is expected to be identical to the Huawei P30, with the same waterdrop notch on the display and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The fourth sensor will be a ToF camera.

It's likely the phone comes with 5x hybrid zoom that matches the P20 Pro.

Both the devices - P30 and P30 Pro will be coming in four color editions such as Midnight Black, Breathing Crystal (White), Aurora (Green) and Amber Sunrise. The P30 Pro, meanwhile, will come in the same colours as the P30, along with an orange finish.

However, all good things must come to an end and that seems to be the case for the P20 Pro with a huge update expected within hours.

Its elder sibling, Huawei P30 Pro could start at Euro 999 (~7578 Yuan) for 6GB/128 GB version, and its 8GB/256 GB storage will go for Euro 1099 (~8337 Yuan).

EMUI 9.1 will definitely be based on Android 9.0 and it's been said that system fluency and animation transition optimization will be greatly improved.

As far as the pricing is concerned, Huawei P30 Pro will be priced at roughly Rs 80,000 or Euro 1,024 for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In terms of battery, the P30 Pro might come with a 4200mAh cell with 40W fast charging.
