Royal wedding excitement: Princess Eugenie reveals bridal party details

11 October 2018

Eugenie's fiancé Jack has asked his brother, Thomas Brooksbank, to be Best Man.

Royalists in Australia will be able to view live coverage from inside St. George's Chapel from 7pm on Friday, October 12.

George and Charlotte are old hands at the wedding roles, having served as page boy and bridesmaid at Harry and Meghan's wedding and at their aunt Pippa's wedding to James Matthews past year.

Also taking up the role of bridesmaids will be Savannah and Isla Phillips, the daughters of Peter and Autumn Phillips.

'It has been lovely working with Princess Eugenie and Jack and I really hope they enjoy the cake on the day'.

Former "Take That" star Williams and Field are friends with Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice, and are expected to attend the wedding, British newspapers reported.

The first, of course, being Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding (sorry Eugenie).

Five-year-old Maud Windsor, the granddaughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, has also been asked to be a bridesmaid.

And while Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank wedding is set to be a totally different event (it's a two-day affair with a funfair on Saturday), we'd say the royal family are getting pretty excited.

It's the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - now The Duke and Duchess of Sussex - tied the knot in May.

The couple will then take a short carriage trip through Windsor, echoing that of Harry and Meghan when huge crowds turned out to watch.

Princess Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank met at the Swiss resort of Verbier where Eugenie was on a family vacation celebrating her father's 50th birthday.

According to BBC News, 1,200 members of the public have been invited to the wedding at Windsor Castle.

Robbie Williams' daughter will be a bridesmaid at Princess Eugenie's wedding.
