Melania Trump On Me Too: We Should Support Men, 'Not Just Women'

The first lady also took the opportunity to express her frustration about being snubbed by foundations she'd like to work with because of opposition to the Trump White House.

Trump commented on the movement during a sit-down interview with ABC News reporter Tom Llama, who traveled with the first lady to Africa.

"I support the women, and they need to be heard", Trump began.

First Lady Melania Trump said women who make sexual assault accusations "need to be heard" - but so do men.

"Do you think men in the news that have been accused of sexual assault, sexual harassment have been treated unfairly?" correspondent Tom Llamas asked.

"I feel like they're choosing politics over helping others", she told Llamas. We need to support them. "You can not just say to somebody, 'I was sexually assaulted or you did that to me, ' because sometimes the media goes too far and the way they portray some stories, it's not correct". "They don't have any facts", she had said.
