"It is about whether or not a woman who has been a victim at some point in her life is to be believed", Lisa Murkowski, an Alaska Republican senator who is a potential swing vote on Justice Kavanaugh's nomination, told The New York Times.

While Swetnick said she is aware of other witnesses who can attest to the truthfulness of her statements, she has not identified those witnesses.
