‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ Movie Stopped In Its Tracks By Universal

Another reason for her exit was that she had bagged Cowboy Ninja Viking, a Hollywood film, opposite Chris Pratt. Pratt's character would have the skills of a cowboy, a ninja and a viking whilst others included Amish, Demo Expert, and Army Captain. The film was initially set to be released on June 28, 2019, but Universal reportedly wasn't eager to rush to meet a release date.

Reportedly the movie was supposed to start shooting in London next month. He already has Jurassic World with Universal, which released Fallen Kingdom this summer to huge box office numbers. And it sounded like things were coming together nicely as Priyanka Chopra, perhaps best known for her turn in The Rock's Baywatch movie, joined the action comedy last week. Should the project get off the ground in the future, Chopra would likely be the first choice for the role, though her involvement would all depend on her schedule aligning with a new production schedule. Game of Thrones director Michelle MacLaren was set to direct Cowboy Ninja Viking from a script by Dan Mazeau, Ryan Engle, Craig Mazin, Paul Wernick and David Reese. Fans will remember that MacLaren was originally going to make her feature directorial debut with last year's Wonder Woman before she left over creative differences. Guymon Casady, Ben Forkner and Mark Gordon are producing this unique take on the comic book genre. Earlier, it was believed that she has opted herself out of Bharat, owing to her wedding but soon, her Hollywood project with Chris Pratt got an official confirmation. The actor will next be seen in Vincent D'Onofrio's western The Kid, and he also returns for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.
