The official photos from Prince Louis' christening have been revealed

To mark Louis' arrival and Charlotte's third birthday, a gorgeous photo taken by Kate was released, showing the little Princess cuddling her new brother while giving him a tender kiss on the head.

It was taken by Matt Porteous, chosen by the duke and duchess to to be their private photographer for the day, at Clarence House after Louis was baptised in The Chapel Royal at St James's Palace last Monday.

The new picture taken by Matt Porteous was released on social media at 10am today, almost 12 hours after Kensington Palace put out another four shots by Matt Holyoak from the day last night.

The christening of Prince Louis has been marked by the release of a collection of family photographs.

The two-month-old was not the only royal family member who had a good time taking the pictures.

The four official photographs first released by the Royal Family were taken by Matt Holyoak, however the fifth photo was snapped by photographer Matt Porteous.

That said, photographer Matt Holyoak did include a hidden tribute to the British monarch in Louis's official christening photots. There was also a photo of Prince William and Kate Middleton with just there three children and one of the entire immediate family together, including Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Prince Harry, and his new wife Meghan Markle.

Kate and Wills kept it intimate, with only the little Prince's godparents, their spouses, and close family members in attendance.

Painted in 1972 by Michael Noakes, the monarch is seen wearing a blue coat and hat - co-ordinating with the blue shades worn by the family in Prince Louis' christening pictures. The archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev. Justin Welby, who also officiated the May nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, performed the ceremony.
