28 June 2018

Largest chipmaker Qualcomm, today announced three new Mobile Platforms- Snapdragon 632, Snapdragon 439 and the Snapdragon 429 as upgrades to the Snapdragon 626, Snapdragon 435 and the Snapdragon 425/427 mobile processors. While all of them have been newly added in the company's Snapdragon 400 and Snapdragon 600 series, none of the SoCs features the best of what the respective lineups have to offer. As the name suggests, the performance cores do the heavy lifting while the efficient cores handle the not so intensive tasks and prolong battery life. The Snapdragon 429 can accommodate a single 16MP camera sensor on the rear or up to dual 8MP sensors, while the Snapdragon 439 bumps the single camera sensor limit to 21MP.
