Trover Saves the Universe Announced For PlayStationVR

14 June 2018

One of the games that was revealed comes from Squanch Games, which is led by Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland, titled Trover Saves The Universe. Sony's E3 2018 presentation may not have had 50 games like Microsoft did yesterday, but what the PlayStation conference lacked in quantity, they made up for in quality.

Roiland's Squanch Games, who previously released Accounting+, are leading development on the game. The video doesn't go into much story detail, but some story aspects are outlined in the video's description. And he's using their power to destroy the universe?

All joking aside, the game looks like a really fun trip.

The trailer begins with Bathtub Guy who narrates us through the gameplay for what is titled Trover Saves the Universe. Roiland doesn't exactly seem like he's masking his Morty voice here, so if you squint your eyes you could probably convince yourself that you're watching a particularly interactive version of the show. The wording on the trailer says "Debuting soon" so maybe this will hit other consoles as well.
