Trump Slams Robert De Niro as 'A Very Low IQ Individual'

Hours after industriously attempting to make peace in Singapore, US president Donald Trump chose to call actor Robert De Niro "a very low IQ individual" via Twitter.

Trump caused a stir with his two tweets harshly criticizing the Hollywood star.

Dems lack heir apparent this time MORE is hitting back at Robert De Niro, nicknaming him "Punchy" and blasting the actor as a "very Low IQ individual".

This is not the first time that De Niro has made his thoughts on Trump known.

About 15 minutes before posting about the actor, the president tweeted that he had gotten along great with Kim Jong Un, the North Korean leader. "F-k Trump!" As the audience erupted in cheers, De Niro quickly added, "It's no longer 'Down with Trump.' It's 'F-k Trump!"

The rebuttal comes after the 74-year-old Goodfellas actor expressed his feelings towards Trump while introducing a performance by his pal Bruce Springsteen at the awards show.

De Niro has previously described the president as "blatantly stupid", "totally nuts" and an "idiot".

On Monday, De Niro also apologized to the people of Canada for the "idiotic behavior of my president".

One of De Niro's biggest roles was in the boxing fim "Raging Bull" directed by Martin Martin Scorsese. Some Twitter users reacted to Trump's misspelling of "to".

Yikes! "I watched Robert De Niro too, and as a doctor I can emphatically say that he has much greater mental faculties than you do on your best day, Mr. President", another fan said.
