Brad's forecast | Severe storms possible Monday afternoon

High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 90s. Highs will be in the mid 80s and it will still be muggy.

The activity will end overnight, with just a few clouds remaining.

The combination of heat and humidity also means frequent and vivid lightning is likely in numerous storms.

Moving into Sunday, you can expect weather a lot like we see Saturday. Some of the storms will have some heavy rain at times. Inland, we'll head for the low 70s.

There will be a chance of showers and storms each day this week.

Some storms today will be on the strong side again with potential for damaging wind and large hail, though the overall severe weather threat will be limited, similar to yesterday. For related traffic news, check out Gridlock.

Pockets of heavy rain and some thunderstorms will be seen into the early afternoon hours primarily for communities along and south of I-96.

More nice weather under a good deal of sun will continue into Tuesday, but a warming breeze will develop as high pressure slides to the east of the Northeast a return southwest flow will push warmer, slightly more humid air into CNY. Mostly cloudy skies with patchy fog late.

Tomorrow (Monday): More periods of rain are likely, with a few pockets of heavier showers possible.
