Platinum Games is making Babylon’s Fall for Square Enix

11 June 2018

At the Square Enix E3 Showcase 2018 on Monday, June 11 (June 12, Manila time), Square Enix had a number of trailers and information drops for viewers.

You can tune in to the Square Enix showcase live at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET via the embedded video below. But we'll probably have to wait for more info about what Platinum is doing next. But the livestream did include a reveal for a brand new PlatinumGames title called Babylon's Fall. Additionally we saw the Kingdom Hearts III trailer we saw at the Microsoft event yesterday, along with a deeper look into Captain Spirit, which looks cute, but I find it hard to get super excited about.

And while playing in the world of Frozen is sure to excite younger Disney fans, there are also tons of other cool new worlds Sora gets to explore in the upcoming game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider opened the show with some gameplay footage in this latest Lara Croft adventure going through some stealthy kills. The dialogue was pretty terrible though and it wasn't made any better by the British-accented voiceovers.

What was disappointing though was that there was no mention at all of Square Enix's Avengers game, which past year they'd implied would be revealed at E3.
