Microsoft announces Halo Infinite at E3 2018

Sure enough, Microsoft has just announced Halo Infinite, referred to as a "New Halo Experience".

Heading into E3 this year, there were never any doubts that a new Halo game was going to be revealed.

The trailer featured a breathtaking look at what appeared to be a mix between planet Earth and possibly the original Halo ring-planet.

We'll keep you updated on any new information on Halo Infinite as it comes during this week's Electronic Entertainment Expo. If this trailer is any indication, the game's development team at 343 Industries intends to right a very critical wrong with this next entry. It's unclear whether Infinite is a direct sequel to Halo 5, or if it's a spin off game. And that's about all we know so far.
