We are still waiting for Google to reveal their new Pixel 3 XL device for 2018 and while Google has been doing a great job of keeping most of the details away from the public, they still can't stop every leak. According to source code obtained from files of Android P Beta 2, the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL could mark the comeback of wireless charging to Google's smartphone range. This feature is known as Edge Sense on HTC's U11+ and U12+ but is also available on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. We can expect Google to comment on the development not before the Pixel launch sometime later this year. Even before the second-gen Pixel 2 phone's official launch, it was sighted on FCC with Android 8.0.1 Oreo and Active Edge. The leak also reveals that Google plans on offering the Pixel 3 XL with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage space. The feature debuted in the Pixel 2 and, while it wasn't exactly a killer feature, it has its fair share of fans. Sorry, Google, we know that you wanted to keep things as much of a secret as possible, but you can never escape the detective powers of the internet. It is a squeeze gesture in Pixel 2 which lets users open Google Assistant, snooze alarm, and also silent incoming calls just by squeezing the sides of the phone.

We believe similar features and technologies will be developed by other OEMs but for Google, it will continue to improve the Active Edge squeeze feature.More news: Danny Kirwan, former Fleetwood Mac guitarist, dead at 68
XDA Developers then looked at the latest Android P developer preview and noticed that the "WakeMode" class within the SystemUIGoogle APK was modified. Crosshatch and Blueline are the alleged codenames of the Pixel 3 smartphones. The report suggests that the glass back of the Pixel 3 will come with two finish. The upper part is said to be glossy and the larger bottom part has a matte finish to make it appear like metal.More news: E3 2018: Doom Eternal Announced with Hellishly Good Teaser
