We here at Cinelinx are definitely excited to see more of this at E3 2018.

Days Gone is set in an open world in the Pacific Northwest.

It's interesting to add that Days Gone is the first game that Sony Bend released ever since Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The Days Gone release date is the second out of five announcements, following the unveiling of a new Tetris-inspired game, Tetris Effect. The Rippers dress similar to the freakers and kill anyone who is not a Ripper, even refusing to kill freakers as they swarm their own camps, which can make for a unusual encounter if a horde ever reaches Ripper territory. "Try bringing in a Swarm and see what happens - Rippers refuse to kill Freakers, and the results can be very entertaining". The character is said to be "tough, cynical, and a bad ass", but Pirri also plays the character in way that shows Boozer's friendship and brotherhood with Deacon. The trailer also gave some more insight into the game's story, which it looks like will involve a sadist gang called the Rippers torturing members of the protagonist's group.
