Democrats on the House committee said Wednesday that they agree with the conclusion reached by the Senate panel.
"I have no confidence that he has told the whole truth", Blumenthal said.
Agalarov, too, seemed to second-guess whether the Trump Tower meeting was worth the cost.
The meeting is being investigated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller as part of his probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.
But the participants said Veselnitskaya did not, in fact, provide dirt on Clinton, instead focusing on overturning the United States sanctions on Russia under the Magnitsky Act that the USA passed to punish Russian human rights abuses.
Testimony from Russian businessman Ike Kaveladze, who works for the Russian development firm owned by Emin Agalarov and his billionaire father, Aras Agalarov. Mueller has indicated to Trump's attorneys that he wants to ask the President about the meeting, and about his role in the composition of a misleading statement that Trump, Jr., put out last summer, after the meeting's existence was revealed.

"I noticed your campaign is covered positively nearly daily", in Russia, Goldstone wrote to Trump in an email.
In the undated text chain, Goldstone consulted Emin Agalarov on the draft of what he called "my ideal statement" on the Trump Tower meeting. "They are concerned because it links Don Jr.to officials from Russian Federation - which he has always denied meeting".
"You know, Jeffrey Dahmer was famous", Goldstone responded, referring to the serial killer. "Emin simply said that all he knew was that there was some potentially damaging information re: Hillary, which could be of interest to the Trumps", Goldstone told Davis.
In a note to Goldstone accompanying the statement, the lawyers said it would be "our preference" that Goldstone say "nothing more, at least for the time being".
"I said, in the call at the end, that I believed it was a bad idea and that we shouldn't do it", Goldstone replied.
"He said, 'It doesn't matter". Not just because he was passing on a chance to be a hero to his dad, but also because he would have surely faced his wrath if he had unilaterally made a decision to keep him in the dark (much like if he had never told him about the Playboy Playmate golfing offer).
Senate Judiciary Democrats said the transcripts are just "one piece of a much larger puzzle" and do not tell the entire story because some participants were not interviewed and Republican chairman, Sen. Schiff said Trump Jr. invoked the privilege because his lawyers claimed that the discussion with his father took place in the presence of legal counsel, which Schiff and other Democrats argued is a situation not covered by the privilege.
Trump Jr. said that he neither offered his father advance warning that he'd been invited to learn about Russian government "dirt" on Clinton, or informed him after the fact that the conversation had instead mostly focused on reinstating a program allowing Americans to adopt Russian children.
The reporters "all ask about you", he told Emin, "but I have said request (for the June 9 meeting) was from me. Could you please focus a bit more and maybe just start again?'" Goldstone recalled. "I don't recall, but she may have".
The meeting is being scrutinized by special counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading an investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russian Federation to win the 2016 presidential election and into whether President Trump obstructed justice. Was anyone introduced as a member or associate of the Russian government? Even Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee who staunchly rejected that portrayal criticized the decision to take the meeting as poor judgment.
