Buffon should watch his mouth, says Italian ref chief

Buffon has come under fire over the past few days after getting sent off against Real Madrid last week, as well as the comments that followed. - Reuters picMILAN, April 17 ― Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon conceded yesterday that sometimes he gets it wrong but that the dramatic Champions League game against Real Madrid had made him feel alive.

Italy icon Buffon has said this will be his last season and he announced his global retirement after Italy's dramatic failure to qualify for the World Cup finals for the first time in 60 years.

Buffon, playing his final Champions League match, was sent off by English referee Michael Oliver for his enraged protests at the decision to award a penalty when Medhi Benatia fouled Lucas Vazquez.
