Barack Obama Reveals His NCAA Tournament Bracket

15 March 2018

Obama has a men's Final Four of Virginia, North Carolina, Villanova and Michigan State.

March Madness is back, and Barack Obama, arguably the country's most famous college basketball fan, is clearly excited, as he has released his bracket for this year's men's and women's tournaments.

Obama has Michigan State winning the men's title and - no surprises - UConn winning the women's championship.

Obama has Kentucky's other tournament team, Murray State, losing the first round to West Virginia.

He also has Texas (10) over Nevada (7). He has Auburn and Tennessee advancing to the Sweet 16, but no SEC teams moving on beyond that.

It should be noted that past year Obama correctly picked North Carolina and UConn as the men's and women's champions. That one, however, was his correct national title pick: North Carolina.

Joining UConn and Mississippi State in the Final Four in Obama's bracket are Notre Dame (29-3) and Louisville (32-2).

"Just because I have more time to watch games doesn't mean my picks will be better, but here are my brackets this year", the 44th President joked on Twitter. There has been no indication he will this year, either, though a recent poll shows 38 percent of Americans would like him to do so.
