John Cena Challenges The Undertaker to a Match at WrestleMania

13 March 2018

The dream match that many WWE fans have been hoping for is now officially on for WrestleMania.

WWE Fastlane 2018 is the final pay-per-view on the road to WrestleMania 34.

But there was a new competitor for SmackDown's women's title, with Asuka appearing after the conclusion of Charlotte Flair's win over Ruby Riott to challenge the champion.

We want to know which match you enjoyed the best and your overall grade for the event, plus any other Fastlane feedback, which you can give us using the comment facility below. The Women's champion was traded to SmackDown in April 2017 and ever since her arrival, Charlotte has become the leading superstar in the locker-room.

WWE reported on their website that Xavier Woods has suffered a spinal injury during the attack by The Bludgeon Brothers at Sunday's WWE Fastlane event.

WWE could still book a Styles-Nakamura match. In a fast-paced match, John Cena started with a bang delivering four Attitude Adjustments on Sami Zayn, Owens, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler before Styles and Cena went to blows.

Flair's match against Ruby Riott was constantly interrupted by Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Lynch, and Naomi.

That said, it's a positive predictable, with AJ Styles emerging victorious from the night's best match and retaining the WWE Championship vs. a slew of other superstars. The only question I have is what the victor of the big match might get. A win will send him to WM in a highly anticipated match with Shinsuke Nakamura.

There was one title change at Fastlane as Randy Orton won the US Championship for the first time after pinning Bobby Roode with an RKO. This makes for a high-profile match with Asuka's undefeated streak on the line against arguably the best female wrestler in recent times- Charlotte.

If WWE plans to keep running these PPVs between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, it's going to have to find a way to get creative. The biggest controversy however was to do with SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon, who stopped both Owens and Zayn winning the belt themselves. Cena then tried to hit an AA on Styles but the champion reversed it and hit Cena with a Style Clash before Zayn saved the pin in the last second.

For example, take a look at the Hardy Boyz' win when they returned past year at WrestleMania 33.

A variety of mini-storylines accessorised the bout, including Kevin Owens superkicking Shane McMahon, and McMahon then ensuring that both Owens and Zayn failed to win the title. Both Corbin and Ziggler would win their matches and would be added to the match making it a Fatal-5-Way.
