'October' team to connect with fans live on trailer launch day

"October" is helmed by "Piku" fame Shoojit Sircar and it has been beautifully presented.

Varun Dhawan's October has been creating buzz for a while now, owing to its mysterious posters and thought-provoking teasers. "That is when we chose to make Varun go live through his social media handle while he is on his way to the event talking about what "October" is to him".

Apart from acting performance, October trailer also shows some of the lovely locations of Shimla, Manali and other parts of northern India.

Talking about his love for nature, Sircar said: "My favourite past time is watching trees and watching nature is my meditation".

Going by the trailer, we understand that both Varun and Banita are hotel management trainees who work in the same hotel, but are not in love with each other.

Shoojit has never worked with Varun in the past and has not attempted a hard core love story before but his track record has varied narratives to it. Dan's character seems to be a unique one, and Varun's performance appears to be of top-notch in the trailer. Before the trailer launch the actor will be seen live in the theatre on the big screen while travelling toward the venue of the launch. Though his character looks cool, he looks completely lost in himself trying to figure out something about Banita. Varun's profession plays a very integral part to his character and environment in the film, which shapes up the events that follow. Tragedy strikes Banita, and she is hospitalised. Based on the director's inspiration from the newspaper clipping, the film shot within the time span of 38 days will release on April 13.
