Like Google 'Posts' in Search results expand to musicians

Google Posts are now opening up to well known musicians.

Google first introduced “Posts” a while back as a way for US Presidential campaigns to reach more people via Google Search results.

Musicians can go to posts.google.com and get verified. It can be images, videos, GIFs, or just simple text posts.

It's even easier to stay updated with your favorite musicians, because they now have the power to post directly to the front page of Google's search results!

Updates from musicians will appear within their respective Knowledge Panel, which typically shows up when the artist's name is searched for specifically. You can now see some of these posts for artists like Sia, Lorde, Steve Aoki.

This feature is now live in Google search results worldwide. You'll know if the update is official because will have a blue checkmark next to the name of the verified artist.

Google has made an update to its search functionality that increases the presence of artists with a wide range of updates including from social channels.
