Stephen Curry will not play Wednesday night against the Clippers due to another ankle injury. With Curry out, the Warriors may likely turn to veteran guard Shaun Livingston to draw the spot start against the Clippers.

The Golden State Warriors got some bad news on Wednesday. Klay Thompson is also out, resting after playing in every game this season.

Curry returned December 30 and has been ferocious ever since. The two-time MVP is averaging 35.2 points, shooting 57 percent from the field and has drained 33-of-62 3-pointers in that span, during which the Warriors were 5-0. Curry tweaked his right ankle during shoot-around Wednesday afternoon and, for precautionary reasons, he won't see action. The boost he provided helped to separate the team a bit from the second place Houston Rockets in the Western Conference standings.

Meanwhile, this will mark the first contest this season that Thompson has missed as he was the only Warriors player to play in the first 41 games.
