A player agent who was sacked for allegedly using a hidden camera to record at least one client showering in his house called the claims "absurd and untrue". According to Yahoo! Sports, the investigation is regarding allegations that Wood secretly filmed clients who were using his shower. "It's unfortunate that CSE TAlent aligned itself with someone who didn't uphold these sam standards and therefore we chose to terminate with cause Wood's employment".

The players' union has not released a statement, but CSE confirmed Wednesday that it had fired Wood as president of its baseball division.

"For 32 years, CSE Talent has prided itself on our moral and ethical standards and have built a solid reputation within the industry", Atlanta-based Career Sports Entertainment said in a statement posted on its website and shared with media. The findings were reported to the Major League Baseball Players Association and Wood was immediately suspended. "I am disappointed that there are those who have chosen to spread such irresponsible and harmful rumors".
