Remember that epic-sounding Twilight Zone reboot from Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg?

"The original The Twilight Zone bridged science-fiction, horror and fantasy together to explore human nature and provide social commentary in a way that audiences had never seen before", added Julie McNamara, Executive Vice President, Original Content, CBS All Access. "'The Twilight Zone' was a touchstone in my life", said Kinberg. "The opportunity to continue its lineage is a dream come true".

The writer-director of "Get Out" will executive produce a revival of the classic series "The Twilight Zone" for CBS All Access, CBS's subscription video-on-demand service, it was announced Wednesday. The Hollywood Reporter noted the network's CEO, Leslie Moonves, announced on November 2 during an earnings call that CBS was preparing to take on the anthology series as part of its digital catalogue of programming for All Access.

The original "The Twilight Zone", created by Rod Serling, took viewers to another dimension, "a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind". UPN had its own version of the show, with Forest Whitaker introducing each story, in 2002-03.

Peele, whose credits include Netflix's Big Mouth, Comedy Central's Key & Peele and TBS' The Last OG, as well as the feature Keanu, is repped by CAA, Principato-Young and Morris Yorn.
