Blizzard confirms Overwatch will run at 4K on Xbox One X

Blizzard has finally confirmed that they will be adding 4K resolution support for the Xbox One X. Hot on the heels of all the announcements made during Blizzcon, and with great sales so far for the Xbox One, it only makes sense to utilize the power of this brand new machine. We will share more details about our plans for 4K support on Xbox One X later. While the game got a 4K HUD - really all the work has already been done for One X in that regard - Blizzard kept the actual game itself running at 1080p, using the extra power to stabilise the dynamic resolution and frame rate.

While Blizzard's popular hero shooter absolutely dominates the PC gaming world compared to consoles, there is still a significant amount of people playing Overwatch on Xbox One.

With the release of the new Xbox console, the Overwatch Xbox One X enhancements aren't going to be the only ones coming to a game.

Seeing as how Moira is the 26th character, Blizzard is expected to release the hero later this week.

Making her available this week would mean she is playable for the Overwatch free weekend that will be taking place from 17th November.

Moira is a versatile support character than can heal and deal damage in equal measure.

Moira's Coalescence Ultimate is interesting in that the beam heals allies and bypasses barriers to damage enemies.

On her official Blizzard page, it says that "Once she's charged Coalescence, Moira can save multiple allies from elimination at once or finish off weakened enemies".
