With these features, the HTC U11 Life is likely to cost less than 400 euros.

HTC has used Super LCD technology that uses DCI-P3 color space. To accommodate this change, HTC moved the fingerprint sensor from the front of the HTC U11 to the back of the HTC U11 Plus, a characteristic that likely carried over from its stint as the Google Pixel 2 XL.

The phone is glossy making it a fingerprint magnet, the company has not used any kind of protection to avoid fingerprints. The company has taken a step forward and has improved by making the U11 plus IP68-rated water and dust resistant, meaning that the phone can survive in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes, so you don't have to worry about taking it to the pool with you.

HTC U11+ is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and would arrive with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage, respectively. The storage can be expanded via microSD card. It packs a 12 MP primary camera and a BoomSound speaker which the manufacturer says is an improvement on previous models.

The Life also has done away with 3.5mm headphone jack, to make up for that they include their USB-USonic headphones. Although, there is a slight downgrade in terms of screen and chips, as U11 Life's 5.2-inch screen has 1080p resolution instead of 2K from the premium U11 variant. The phone will easily last for a day even if you are a heavy user.

Both the smartphones also come equipped with the Edge Sense support which was introduced with the HTC U11.
