- North Carolina Courage midfielder McCall Zerboni was called up to the U.S. Women's National Team for the match against Korea Republic Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2:00 p.m.at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. She was one of six starters who weren't on the 2016 U.S. Olympic team, reflecting the changes in the U.S. squad as Coach Jill Ellis continues to experiment. These matches have largely served as a chance for Ellis to evaluate players going into World Cup qualifying next year.
