With the exception of Grindhouse, Harvey Weinstein's companies have distributed all of Tarantino's films since 1994's Pulp Fiction.

Director Quentin Tarantino has broken his silence on the allegations made against his friend and long-time collaborator Harvey Weinstein.

Tarantino issued a statement via actress/director Amber Tamblyn's Twitter account on Thursday (October 12), describing himself as "stunned and heartbroken" about the allegations facing Weinstein.

"Since last week, I was stunned and heartbroken by revelations that have emerged about Harvey Weinstein, my friend for 25 years".

Tamblyn and Tarantino are also friends, and she tweeted that Tarantino asked her to share his statement. Two of the company's five highest grossing films were directed by Tarantino: Django Unchained and Inglourious Basterds.

While the evidence overwhelming, drawing up a portrait in the shape of a predator of the producer, Quentin Tarantino is not expressed. Weinstein threw an engagement party for Tarantino and his fiancée, Israeli singer Daniella Pick, earlier this year. "I need a few more days to process my pain, emotions, anger and memory and then I will speak publicly about it", the statement reads. The event was held at Socialista in Soho - the same club where a former Fox News reporter claimed Weinstein masturbated in front her in the hallway back in 2007.
