Angelina Jolie reportedly 'calls off' divorce from Brad Pitt

10 August 2017

Jolie did so with a recent Vanity Fair interview in which she discussed settling her family down again in a newly purchased LA mansion.

Even though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie chose to call it quits around this time past year, the Hollywood superstars could possibly be headed for a reconciliation.

"Everyone thinks they are going to get back together", an anonymous, and hopelessly romantic, source told the weekly tabloid for its latest cover story.

A new report by Us Weekly sees multiple sources claiming the former power couple, who had a very public and very bitter split in September 2016, have not moved forward with proceedings to end their marriage. In December, Brad, 53, allegedly got "verbally abusive" and "physical" with their son Maddox on a private jet, resulting in Angelina filing for divorce 10 days later.

However, now, the close associate of the actress reaffirms, "She's still so in love with him".

The couple has six children: Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star said the new house is 'a big jump forward for us, and we're all trying to do our best to heal as a family'.

Bard Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

But as the writer noted, Jolie and her children hadn't done much unpacking, and Jolie "barely" knew her way around.

In a March interview, however, she talked about her future and didn't mention Pitt. That is, without Pitt's help. You know, I just started therapy. But at the same time many critics believe that it's doubtful that Brad Pitt would be willing to work on his relationship with Angelina Jolie. "And I haven't been great at it", Pitt admitted. "She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this hard time", Jolie's attorney said in a statement. During an interview with GQ, Pitt opened up about his parental shortcomings. A source told the magazine, "The divorce is off".

"And it's hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time". "She's not fully over him".

Pitt's determination to improve has worked his way to Jolie's heart, US Weekly writes.

The source continued: "Everyone thinks they are going to get back together".

She did say they care for each other and are both working toward the same things for the family.
