John Cena Moving To RAW After WWE SummerSlam

01 August 2017

Cena is scheduled to wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura on tonight's episode of SmackDown Live, with the victor facing WWE Champion Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam on August 20th. Nakamura's charismatic personality and strong style skill set made him an instant hit with fans in the US and he was promoted to the WWE SmackDown Live roster in April.

Once Cena appears on the August 15, 2017 edition of SmackDown Live, he will face his SummerSlam opponent and seemingly remain a Raw Superstar for the foreseeable future.

Plus, AJ Styles tonight will defend his United States Championship against Kevin Owens.

It will be interesting to see if Rusev does make his presence known in Cena's match because it seems that WWE has nothing for him outside of his feud with the 16-time World Champion. But two days later, Styles pulled the ultimate trick.

A blockbuster return and a championship change pulled on the ratings for the Tuesday Night show as we head towards the Summerslam PPV.

It is one of those dream pro wrestling matches you would hope to witness in grand scale events like the WrestleMania or SummerSlam or one of those big WWE pay-per-view events possibly at the Madison Square Garden.

Owens regained the belt at the Battleground pay-per-view last week - although there has been controversy regarding whether or not that match's ending went according to script. There will be a tag team match between the team of Naomi and Becky Lynch against Natalya and Carmella.

Other WWE superstars expected to be in Cleveland on Tuesday night include Randy Orton, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, Rusev and the reigning Mr. Money in the Bank contract victor, Baron Corbin. We haven't seen much of Carmella in the ring since she won the "Money In The Bank" briefcase, so I'm looking forward to seeing all of these competitors give us a great match.
