Nick Fury will reportedly appear in Captain Marvel

07 July 2017

Nick Fury is the link for every single Marvel Cinematic Universe - so it's only right that the character will make an appearance in the upcoming Captain Marvel film, the first to feature a female superhero and one of the final films to end Marvel's phase three.

Meanwhile, Jackson is scheduled to return in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel, in accordance with a nine-film commitment to the character he signed with the studio.

In the same interview Jackson also joked about how Fury will not be in Black Panther - despite the character being the only black character in the MCU so far. No matter how famous they are now thanks to the MCU, there was a time before these actors and actress were famous, and a new video highlights just what they were doing before you even knew who they were. All things considering, he hasn't shown up since Avengers: Age of Ultron (while expect to appear in Avengers: Infinity War and the untitled Avengers 4). Prior to that Fury was shot and hospitalized in 2014's Captain America: Winter Soldier.

The relationship between Brie Larson and Jackson has been well established before they step on the Avengers set, as they worked together on Kong: Skull Island and Brie cast Sam to co-star in her directorial debut Unicorn Store which is now in post.
