Andy Murray found a new fan on Monday as he prepared to start the defence of his Wimbledon title - cartoon phenomenon Peppa Pig. "When I was young, I watched James Blake, I just remember he had a great forehand", says Bublik.
"I want to be nervous and I want to feel the pressure at these events".
Murray saw at first hand in the 2012 Olympics how sport can bring people together. "I felt comfortable under foot [after the rain], the first few days it's a bit lush and can be slippy but I didn't feel I was losing my footing at all".
"People do come out and support each other".
"We are strong", he said. You don't see it all of the time.More news: Stanton to defend, Judge hopes to rule Home Run Derby
Bublik, a trick shot specialist and part-time rapper, sees no reason why he couldn't conjure up something special on his big stage debut.
"Considering how I was feeling five, six days ago it was really positive".
"With the adrenaline, it helps numb some pain that you might have and I moved well today", Murray told the BBC. "But when I'm out there I'm in my own bubble". But now I feel more emotional about it because you know that can happen to anyone.
"Maybe it adds a little bit of extra pressure".
A brief wobble when serving for the second came when Bublik raced into a 40-0 lead before Murray saved all three before winning the set.More news: 'No Sign' of Stormont Deal, Says Sinn Fein
The current turmoil surrounding Murray and the obvious uncertainty and unrest suggests that reaching the second week of this year's Wimbledon would be a very good result considering how unlucky he has been in the prep for the third Grand Slam of the year.
He faces Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik in the opening round on Centre Court on Monday afternoon and, despite not promising free-flowing tennis, Murray insists he will be physically durable for the entire Wimbledon fortnight.
And Murray described how that exchange continued by Centre Court. If you asked me how many titles Federer won, probably I will not know. I said, "Well, there's still time to get to 20".
"Like Andy, I'd like to think that I'm fit enough to play seven matches, but I'm going to be taking it one at a time". I love playing there.
Bublik does have issues with the consistency of his serve and has the tendency to make a lot of double faults, which will be magnified when playing one of the best returners of the ball in tennis.More news: Plane leaving Chicago crashes in northern Wisconsin, killing 6, officials say
They were revealed to be a couple when Murray kissed Kim after he won his first tournament in 2006, though they briefly split up that year, before they reconciled and have been inseparable ever since. I'm very familiar with the surroundings. He said, "I think I'm only on about 10 right now".
