Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall became another flashpoint on Friday with protesters storming the building, accusing authorities of ignoring them and of forcing low-income families to live in sub-standard housing.
Hundreds of protesters also marched on Whitehall, central London, to voice their frustration at the Government's response to the fire, which ripped through the tower block in north Kensington on Wednesday morning.
"When the truth comes out about this tragedy, we may find that there is blood on the hands of a number of organisations", he said.
The list includes immediate re-housing of all the victims of Grenfell Tower fire within the borough, immediate release of funds to cover costs of welfare and all losses suffered by the victims, and launching an investigation into the recent refurbishment project of the tower. British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn proposed putting some of them up in empty luxury homes owned by wealthy residents of the area - which is a fairly affluent neighborhood.
Cundy said there may have been people in the tower that police are not aware of, which would add to the death toll. He asked anyone who was in the tower and survived to contact police immediately.More news: Britain eyes Brexit deal 'like no other in history'

'Our deep gratitude to the emergency services, who continue to respond swiftly.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Theresa May on Sunday said that the response to the disaster had not been "not good enough" as she battled critics who targetted her post-election fragile government over the tragedy.
She visited the site of the fire on Latimer Road on Thursday, speaking to first responders.
"The Prime Minister is distraught about what has happened", said Green, who was appointed May's deputy in the wake of the general election.
She said the Government would offer resources beyond the £5m already committed to helping those displaced by the fire if necessary, and announced a deadline of three weeks for families to be found another home "nearby" to the Kensington area of the fire.More news: One year later: thousands gather to honor Pulse victims
The identification of the victims is proving very hard - which experts attribute to the extreme heat of the fire. They have have not been seen since the fire. This relies on dental records, fingerprints and DNA when possible and also features like tattoos or scars.
The queen and Philip stood silently before the start of the annual Trooping the Color procession that marks the queen's official birthday.
London's fire department says that the reason for the subway closure near the high-rise fire disaster is because of a "short-term risk of some debris falling onto the tracks". This year, however, it is very hard to escape a very sombre national mood.
As London Fire and Rescue Service continued their search of the building, looking for victims, the outpouring of grief mixed with anger grew. "What we want is for someone from the public authority to tell us what the procedure is".
Engineering experts and fire safety specialists believe the building's exterior cladding may have quickly fueled the blaze, overwhelming fire protection devices. British officials have ordered a review of other buildings that have had similar renovations.More news: GJM-police clashes: One killed, IRB officer seriously injured
