"And I love him", Smith said, reduced to tears.
Few other details were immediately available, including whether the victim was taken to the hospital.

Mr Ailes, she said, was "the most wonderful loving husband (to me) and father to our son Zachary".

Roger Ailes was the former CEO of Fox News and was responsible for making the conservative news empire the powerhouse that it is today. What many will remember as the network lives on are the people in positions of power who covered it up.
Ailes is credited with doing more than anyone has to change the landscape of media but also more to divide the country with great political influence. His cause of death has yet to be officially reported.
In July 2016, Ailes resigned his post as the CEO of Fox News after the harassment scandal spiraled beyond his control, and the public reactions to his death have been split along party lines.
Ironically, amid news of his death, it seems Fox News is struggling after huge payouts from claims of sexual assault by Ailes and longtime comrade, Bill O'Reilly. The report said the caller told a dispatcher there was "serious bleeding" and that the man was not completely alert. "After all he built in his career, he for all practical purposes died alone".

After spending the 1980s producing off-Broadway theater shows and television programs, and consulting for Republican politicians including Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, Ailes was tapped to run the then 4-year-old CNBC news network in 1993.
Ailes started Fox News in 1996.
The formula shook the American news industry and changed American politics. Meanwhile, most on the left reviled him for bringing reactionary conservative thought to the mainstream, his network's tenuous relationship with truth and for sexually harassing female employees for decades. Ailes molded the network to run like a political campaign operation, with primetime shows that were unabashedly conservative and hosts who openly espoused Republican talking points.
Twenty-First Century Fox made no immediate statement. When Bush sat down for an interview with Dan Rather in 1988, it was Ailes who pushed the then-vice president to attack the CBS News anchor over questions regarding the Iran-Contra affair.
His crowning achievement at Fox News, however, was sullied in his final months by the charges of sexual misconduct.More news: Trump defiant, doubting top advisers as White House in turmoil, sources say
The allegations of sexual harassment against the late Fox News boss were rarely ever acknowledged on the network. The GOP has total control of government in at least 25 states and partial control in 20 others.
