Actor Kit Harington, who plays the role of Jon Snow, in popular television series Game Of Thrones said that the makers reduced the numbers of episode in the upcoming seventh season so that they could spend more on individual episodes, reports Entertainment Tonight. "So, the whole scale of it is up", Harington says. The new season will only feature seven episodes instead of the usual ten as the show nears its end.

Beginning chronologically with the Mad King's rule, the teaser uses voiceovers to touch on significant events of the previous six seasons-including Ned Stark's beheading, the Red Wedding and Cersei Lannister's ascension to the Iron Throne-as giant stone versions of the major house sigils crumble to ash. "The first time we saw that was one of the very first scenes in the pilot, when Will the ranger sees the Wildling body parts in an odd pattern displayed by the White Walkers", he said.
